A standard Audi RS3 not fast enough? Then a trip to the chip tuner will do, but now you can also go straight to Audi itself. As a Performance Edition, the Audi RS3 is slightly more powerful than normal, but there is more going on. The Audi RS3 Performance Edition is distinguished first and foremost by its power, although a “boost” from 400 to 407 hp is not exactly earth-shattering. It does mean that this is the first new RS3 to have more horsepower than its predecessor, so that’s a nice bonus. Another symbolic detail: the top speed is 10 km/h higher than that of a regular RS3, bringing it to 300 km/h. The “gentlemen’s agreement” that dictates German cars can go no faster than 250 km/h seems to have been definitively torn to shreds. The RS3’s torque remains the same at 500 Nm, but it is available for a little longer. The RS3 Performance comes standard with ceramic brake discs and adaptive dampers, which are normally available at extra cost. Fully dealer-maintained and also equipped with an extended factory warranty until 29 March 2028.
