A Ferrari is described as “full service history,” “continuously maintained,” or “from an enthusiast owner,” and on closer inspection many questions remain unanswered. With this vehicle, the approach is different. This Ferrari was most recently serviced by BayerPower (Bernd Bayer) at the independent specialist workshop for classic Italian sports cars in Heilbronn/Neckarsulm - specializing in Ferrari, Maserati, and naturally aspirated and turbo models from the 1980s to the early 2000s. This workshop has over 33 years of experience in building, maintaining, and technically supporting such vehicles. This creates a different view of the actual condition: strengths, special features, known issues, and the points we must speak about honestly. __ Note on service history When reviewing the documents, two unexplained discrepancies were found in the service book regarding dates and/or mileage entries. Both relate to the period before BayerPower cared for the vehicle. The cause cannot be conclusively determined from the documents available. We therefore cannot confirm whether transcription errors are involved. We explicitly disclose these inconsistencies and make the relevant entries as well as the available documents available to interested parties for inspection. For us, what we can assess ourselves is therefore decisive. Bernd has known this F355 GTS F1 since 2021. In 2025, a complete service including timing belt replacement was carried out. From a technical perspective, it is an absolutely unmodified, honest vehicle in original factory condition with very good overall care. Bernd’s assessment: “A great car - every clamp is like at delivery.” Since the vehicle has been known to BayerPower, the technical care as well as the most recently performed major service including timing belt replacement have been fully and transparently documented.
